Did You Notice...
Have you ever noticed things are you thought were interesting? Well, here are some that came to my eye.
- If Monica married either Dr. Richard Burke, Pete Becker, or Chandler Bing, (which she did), her initials would always be M.G.B.
- Rachel had on the same shirt on in "The One With Ross' Library Book" and "The One Where Rosita Dies," which are both in season 7.
- In "The One With The Sonogram At The End" (Season 1) Ross says he would like to name his baby Julia if it was a girl. He then changed his mind after dating Julie (Season 2). Later when he was dating Rachel, he said he would like the name
"Emily" ("The One Where Old Yeller Dies"). He changed his mind again after marrying (and divorcing) Emily in seasons 4-5. He and Rachel eventually took the name that Monica wanted, Emma! - In "The One With Ross' Step Forward" (Season 8), Ross describes Mona as a "Conversational Wizard." In "The One Chandler Takes A Bath" (Season 8), Monica describes Phoebe as a "Conversational Wizard."
- Did you notice that a lot of the friends' historical gimmicks or quirks started in season 4.
- Joey's "How you doin'?"
- The "Giving the finger without actually having to give it" gesture that Ross made up.
- Phoebe's triplets.
- "Regina Philange"- Well, it actually started in 5:01, but it's a continuation to the last episode of season 4.
- Ross had the same shirt on in "The One With Both Parts, Part 2" (Season 1) when he was talking to his dad in the restaurant, & "The One Where Ross Finds Out" (Season 2) in the 'When were you under me?' seen.
- In "The One Where Ross Dates A Student" (Season 6) when Joey comes into the apartment while Chandler is talking to Dana on the phone, you can see the microphone over Matt LeBlanc's head.
- If Ross and Rachel did name their daughter "Ruth," all of their initials would be R.G.
- For the first 3 seasons there was a huge poll in the middle of Monica's apartment (Ross hits his head on it in "The One With The Giant Pocking Device") but we never see it again after season 3.
- Ross had the same shirt on in "The One With The Prom Video" and "The One Where Joey Moves Out" (Both in season 2 and only 2 episodes apart).
- Ross and Rachel have gotten together and broke up in in the same episode 3 times (season 2 - "The One With The List"; season 3 - "The One With The Morning After"; season 4 - "The One With The Jellyfish").
- In "The One With The Giant Poking Device" Phoebe says that someone dies everytime she goes to the dentist. Later, Monica rips the head off of 'Rainy Day Bear'.
- Monica never changes her last name after marrying Chandler.
- Every time Monica, Rachel, and Phoebe hug, Monica is always in the middle and Rachel and Phoebe are always on the sides ("The One With The Breast Milk," "The One With Phoebe's Uterus," "The One After 'I Do'," and "The One With The Boob Job."
- Joey has a different hairstyle at the beginning of "The One Where Emma Cries," even though it's a continuation from the last episode.
